Our Ōamaru yard is more than just a stockpile of wood — it’s a story of heritage, craftsmanship, and sustainability. For over 10 years, we’ve been known across New Zealand as Recycled Timbers NZ Ltd, proudly supplying quality recycled timber to homeowners, builders, and architects nationwide.
Today, under our new name Renovo Timbers, we're building on that legacy with renewed energy and purpose.
Why Renovo?
The name Renovo comes from Latin, meaning to renew, restore, or revive — a perfect reflection of our mission. Every piece of timber we supply has a past, and through careful restoration and thoughtful reuse, we give it a new life in beautiful, lasting projects. Renovo speaks to transformation — both of the material and the spaces it helps create.

Giving Timber a Second Life
Our Ōamaru yard is more than just a stockpile of wood. Each piece has stood the test of time and tells its own unique story. For over 10 years, we’ve sourced wood from bridges, wharfs, railways, and demolition sites across New Zealand, giving quality timbers new life while reducing waste.
By saving structural timbers from demolition sites, we reduce landfill waste and create a high-quality, unique resource for construction. Wood is around 50% carbon, bound from the atmosphere as the tree grows. When the wood is burnt or decays, the carbon is released as carbon dioxide. By recycling timber we are keeping this carbon stored, avoiding green house gas emissions.
We supply reclaimed timber and give it new life, making customers dreams come true to create practical and beautiful architectural features with a story behind each piece, all while supporting sustainable building practices.
